Leaked iPhone 16 Pictures Surprise iPhone Fanatics

With very many months to go until the launch of the iPhone 16, there have been a few leaks of the dummy units and these units simply give off some iPhone X vibes.

After a few years of duplicity in the iPhone world, the iPhone 16 series appears destined to shake things up for the lineup, with Apple appearing to opt for a new camera design and a new Capture button alongside different screen diagonals.

Thanks to new images of dummy units leaked by Sonny Dickson, we now have our best look at what the entire iPhone 16 series could look like.

As you can see, the iPhone 16 gives off an iPhone X-like vibe, especially on the base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

Apple appears to be reorienting the camera stack, likely to enable the iPhone 16 to shoot spatial videos for the Apple Vision Pro (which requires two cameras positioned side-by-side for 3D stereo recording and accurate depth mapping). Apple could also trim down the square camera island, though we do see a sensor placed outside of the camera island.

So far, we haven’t heard any significant rumors about a potential price hike, so we can probably count that the iPhone 16 lineup will cost the same as the iPhone 15 did at launch.

Although these are just rumors, the Pro iPhones are expected to be slightly larger than theiPhone 16 series. We can see a hint of this in these images.

The iPhone 16 Pro could feature a 6.3-inch display, up from the 6.1-inch display of the iPhone 16, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max could feature a 6.9-inch display, up from the 6.7-inch display of the iPhone 16 Plus.

Other than these two notable tweaks, though, there’s not much difference to see here. We do expect a new button on some models (possibly for camera controls), but that doesn’t appear to be incorporated into these dummies. Elsewhere, we expect a new chipset for the Pro models, some new AI tricks in iOS 18, and some other traditional spec upgrades.

We expect the iPhone 16 series to launch in September, so we’ve got a long way to go and our fingers are crossed.
